Virginia Gayle Goodsell, age 80, passed away at her home in Fruit Heights, Utah on Thursday November 28, 2024. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 30, 1944 to Bruce W. Hollingshead and Virginia E. Herrin Hollingshead.

 She is a High School graduate.

 Virginia married Michael Lewis Goodsell on November 22, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple.

 She has lived in Woods Cross, Germany, Greece and England.

 She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

 Virgina enjoyed ballroom dancing.

 She worked at The Ice Cream Store Restaurant, Beehive Clothing, Deseret Book, Hallmark, Temple Square, Mrs. Cavanaugh’s Chocolates, North Seas Restaurant and the Tampico Restaurant.

 Virginia is survived by her husband, Michael L. Goodsell, sons; Marcus, Troy and Ashton Goodsell, daughters; Elizabeth and Sariah Goodsell, grandchildren Allison Goodsell and Roland Goodsell.

She was preceded in death by her son Christopher Michael Goodsell.

 Graveside services will be held Friday December 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah. Family and friends may visit from 12:30 to 1:45 prior to the graveside at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.
