Russell “Dean” Liming age, 79, passed away on July 10, 2024, with his loving wife Martha at his side. Dean was born January 21, 1945, in Columbus, Ohio to his parents, Russell and Esther Liming. He was a graduate of Marion Franklin High School, class of 1963. Following high school Dean served his country in the United States Army in Korea during the Vietnam War. Dean went on to earn his master’s degree (MBA) from Franklin University. He loved to read and learn, educating himself on subjects of interest. Dean enjoyed taking photos, he often was not present in many of the family photos because he was behind the camera capturing the memories. He was also a computer enthusiast and showed his creativity in making ink pens out of wood from Bethlehem. Dean’s strongest passion was spending time with his wife Martha of 55 years whom he deeply loved. Dean was a lifelong member of Benfield Christian Church. He loved the Lord, and it could be seen through his being a generous and giving person to others.
Dean is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Esther Liming; brothers, Roger “Dale” Liming and Ray Dwight Liming. He is survived by his loving wife Martha; his brother David (Susan) Liming; many nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law. In addition to his loving family who will always cherish his memory, Dean leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Martha would like to thank her family, friends, and pastors who gave her unconditional love and support during Dean's illness and continue to during this difficult time. Also, a thank you to the Scioto Township Fire Department and to the medical staff who cared for Dean at Mount Carmel Grove City Hospital.

Family will receive friends, Monday, July 15, 2024, at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South High St., Columbus, OH. 43207 beginning at 2:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm with Pastor Steve Sherrod and Pastor David Sherrod officiating.
